[ EARTH SPACE STATION. Somewhere in space.]

Many years ago, the National Earth Space Station was completed and was home to over one hundred brave men and women who dedicated their time, energy, and focus on studying everything about outer space and the rest of the universe. These scientists made new discoveries in technology and medicine, and rumors were that they were working on a special serum that could alter human DNA to make them stronger.

The space station also acted as an anchor point for astronauts who would travel into deep space and back. One particular day or moment, a scientist at the main control center was fumbling and shaking in his boots as he witnessed something strange on the computer screen

” Sir, you might want to see this. ” He called out to his superior general. ”The motion detectors have been set off and the heat sensing cameras captured slight heat signatures entering into our galaxy. ”

The superior leader, a tall, white-bearded man, leaned over as he observed what the scientist was talking about. ”Heres a picture from five earth weeks ago and heres another from two weeks back. ”

” They seem to be getting larger. ” He whispered in his deep, scratchy voice. ” I want you to keep an eye on this. Don raise any alarms yet, it could be a solar flare traveling through space. ”

”But sir, ” The scientist quaked. ” Flares can travel through galaxies and not burn out. This could be a threat to us. We need to warn the others. ”

”Nonsense. ” The General glared at him. He then pulled him to the extreme corner of the room and said, ” One word from you and Ill have you thrown into space, got it? Now get back to work. ” The General pushed the scientist away as he went to attend to other business.

The scientist walked back to his station and watched closely, waiting but also praying that nothing else happens. I pray this doesn turn out to what I fear it could be. ”

” Rise up, Ace. ” Cherry shook her brother from bed. ” Weve gotta hurry if don want to end up late, again. ” She said, yet she was already ready to leave.

Ace sheepishly got out of his bed, freshened up, had a light breakfast, and walked to school with his sister. It was a ten-minute walk from their place to the school building so Cherry made some random conversations to cheer her brother up.

As always, she was able to put a smile on his face, making him even walk with a skip. Ace and Cherry were in different grades and had to take different classes so theyd only communicate to each other during lunch breaks and the evening hours.

”Well, this is where we stop. Have a nice day Acy. ”

”You too, Cherry. ” He replied with a smile.

The school building was separated into two. One side of the building was for the high school seniors and another side was for the junior high schoolers. The Seniors building was slightly large than the juniors even though they were slightly left. A hedge separated both sides of the school building, keeping them from having any interactions with each other.

As soon as Ace walked in through the main doors, he was welcomed by a large fist to his face, injuring his nose and sending him down on thr ground. The teenage boy tried to get up but multiple kicks were sent, hitting him on his upper body.

The poor boy held his head and begged for the torture to end or for just a teacher to walk by.

”JASON AND TEAM. YOU LEAVE THAT BOY, RIGHT NOW! ” One of the teachers barked as he whacked the boys with a stick.

”See you in class, loser. ”

”Better hope we don find you. ”

”Get up, son. You look horrible. Go to the nurse and head back to class. Thatll teach you to goof off. ” The teacher scoffed, without even helping Ace up but he didn care. Every day, Jason, the high school bully, ganged up on Ace and beat him badly, making his life at school miserable.

Alright, Ace. Another start to another terrible day. ” He said as he made his way to the school nurse. Upon reaching there, he was welcomed by his second most favorite person in the world, the school nurse, Miss Anya.

Anya was a university graduate practicing her medical skills at the school. Since the school was in an over-polluted city, doctors and nurses were needed most and in this school, she was needed the most by Ace. Miss Anya was an average-height woman with a slim but curvaceous body. She had jet black hair, smooth skin, and a beautiful smile that made all the guys simp for her, well…not Ace.

”Oh no, Ace! Jason happened again? ” She asked in her nurse uniform that complimented her curvy shape. Ace simply nodded as he was placed on a bed. ” Let me get you some painkillers to make you feel better. ” She said as she placed a wet towel on his swellings.

She handed him some painkillers as she placed a menthol rub on a few of his swellings. ”You take care now, alright? Ill ask the school principal about how we can deal with him. Bye. ” She ended with a smile. Ace felt a little better and made his way to his classroom.

As soon as he got in, Jason grabbed him and pinned him by the wall while the other students didn even bat an eye at Ace. ”Good morning, a-hole. Back from your nurse girlfriend? ”

”Men, what a perv he is. ”

”Tell me about it. I bet he fakes his disease just to look at her. Perv. ”

”Speaking of which. ” Jason, a tall, bulky, brown-haired rich kid snuck his hands into Aces backpack and pulled out his inhaler.

”Hey, give that back. I need it. ” Ace cried out but the bully forced his dirty hands over his mouth. ”Make me. ” He let go of Ace as he and his friends played keep away with Aces inhaler. The boy struggled to get it but luckily, the homeroom teacher walked and barked at them to leave Ace alone.

”Whatever. Here…have it. ” He threw the inhaler right at Aces eye and walked away laughing. Ace picked up his inhaler and sat at the back of the classroom, far from Jason and the other boys.

There he sat, in pain with a hurting eye and aches all over his body. He wished to be anywhere but here and yet, here he was. How I wait for the day I leave this hell hole. ”
