BLOOD MUTANT SYSTEM

” Everybody, move to the bases. Go go go. Don look back. GO!! ”

People ran for their lives as the black pods fell from the sky like meteors. Large shadows overcast the Earth as the three, large spaceships hovered over the Earths atmosphere.

The humans were in panic mode as they ran towards the bases the armies across the world set up. This was a secret plan that all countries agreed on. In case of any disastrous event, the armies would set up bases to house the surviving humans and this was happening right in Ark Ville.

The pods kept crashing down and out from them came the alien species. Dressed in full body armor, yielding heavy guns and having uniquely shaped bodies.

Like humans, they had the basic humanoid shape and a few other extensions that made them stand out. For one, they were taller and larger than the average human. They had thick tails. They didn have soft flesh but rather hard, foggy gray segmented flesh. Their front sides had paler, softer scales while the back sides had larger, thicker, darker scales.

While the citizens ran for cover, the soldiers of Ark Ville went straight into the battlefield and initiated attacks on the aliens. They had tanks for air support while foot soldiers carried heavy chain guns.

” FIRE!!! ”

The sound of fired bullets echoed across the land as countless shots were fired at the enemy. However, the bullets didn seem to do anything to the creatures but bounce off of them. The soldiers were terrified so they resulted in explosives.

They quickly set up mines, used thick tank bomb shells, and even threw grenades at them. This seemed to work, but only for a short while.

” Call in and r support, now!! ” Jets and attack helicopters peppered the skies as rockets were launched at the creatures. The soldiers celebrated as the explosions blew body parts off of the creatures.

” Yeah. EAT THAT ALIEN SCUM. ”

Just then, from a distance in the clouds, one could see one of the small alien ships opening, and out came flying machines that seemed to be their own version of jet fighters.

” DRONES. THEYVE GOT DRONES!!! ”

The alien drones flew into the Earths atmosphere and fired energy beams at the human air support machines. As distraction occurred and once the humans began retreating, the aliens advanced forward. With their weapons, they stunned men and women into a state of unconsciousness and beam themselves back to their spaceships.

” THEYRE ABDUCTING US FOR FOOD. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES. ”

No matter how loud the humans screamed or cried for help, the aliens didn stop abducting and beaming them up. They wouldn kill their victims but either stun them or knock them out on command.

”Save yourselves. Fall back. Head to the bases! ” Even the soldiers, the men, and women meant to serve and protect, were afraid of the aliens and sped their way to the bases in their vehicles, leaving the civilians behind.

As soon as they got filled up, they closed the gates and ordered those outside to look for other bases, if they could make it. Sadly though, the aliens captured those who were unlucky enough to be outside of the bases and took them up into their ship.

” This is the end of humanity. ”

” We
e gonna die. Theres no one to save us ”

” Whats the government going to do about this? ”

” Yeah, some of us have jobs and families elsewhere. When are we going to see them again. ” People in Ark Villes base complained bitterly at the military personnel. They threw temper tantrums as they threatened to trash and wreck the entire facility.

” Everyone. Stay calm. Help is on the way. ” A large, buff man in decorated military clothes spoke as he tried to calm the people down. No matter how hard he tried, the angry citizens refused to understand his reasoning.

The man, who was another general for Ark Villes military, pulled out a gun and shot in the air, instantly getting the peoples attention. ” Listen here you lot. I know all of you are frustrated and want answers but as of now, you
e gonna head to your designated areas and shut your mouths, NOW!! ” He barked at all of them.

Like angry teenagers, the citizens stormed off to their designated areas where theyd receive further instructions on what was going to happen and when.

” Sir, the first batch of serums has arrived. When do we give them out? ” The general took a moment to think before replying, ” Everyones frustrated now so its best we do this when they are all calm and rested. Prepare their food parcels and assign them to their sleeping quarters. ”

” Yes sir. ”

Up in the sky, or more specifically, up in outer space, inside of a large, spaceship, a particular lad was placed inside a cylindrical container filled with a green gooey substance. Inside the container was an orange-haired boy, floating in the green liquids. From his back, three large tubes stuck out and each one of them had different substances that were being put into his body.

The first tube had lime green, glowing liquids inside, the second had black liquids with small, blue hexagonal chips in it, and the third had pure human blood being extracted. The orange-haired boy, Ace, slowly gained back consciousness as his eyes slowly opened up. Through the green liquid and tempered glass of the container, he could see two strange figures discussing a few things with each other in a language he didn understand quite well.

The two figures held heavy guns as theyd pace through the whole room that had more containers similar to the one Ace was in. Wha…where….where am I? He tried asking himself but his words were muffled by the oxygen mask covering his nose and mouth.

What the he… ” The aliens looked at him and eery smiles kept up on their dragon-like faces. At the edge of their collarbones, small speakers were placed and each one of the aliens turned them on.

”Translator on. Is yours working? ”

”Its working well. I think this being can hear us well. ” They spoke with deep, god-like voices, deep enough to scare the life out of any faint-hearted person. Ace watched in burning anger as the two beings circled themselves around him.

”Who…WHO ARE YOU? WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM EARTH? ” He angrily shouted. One of the aliens came closer to his container and said, ”Greetings. My names Toh. We are the Granians, an intelligent species of complex life forms from a galaxy millions of light years away from yours. ”

The second one came closer and interrupted its comrade saying, ”We have come looking for…lets just say test subjects for a special program. We believe that you humans have a special trait in your DNA that is very compatible with ours. ”

”However, ” The first one continued, ”You are the third subject out of the thousands to survive. Your body hasn shriveled and withered, and yet you
e not the strongest weve found…yet. ”

”Test subject? ” Ace asked. ” How dare you? You can use other life forms for your own sick, twisted tests! ”

”Oh, but on the contrary. You, humans, kill, enslave, and inhumanely massacre the life forms that share your planet with you. How is it when the roles are turned, its twisted? ” The first one asked with a smile. They then burst into laughter as they pointed at Ace.

*BEEP* *BEEP*

The computer screens behind them went off and both Granians turned their heads to Aces left-hand side. He looked in the direction they were looking and saw another human in the tank as well. ”A fourth one. Have to say, the most we expected was one, but four! Grand Master will be pleased. ”

”Indeed he shall. ”

”What the….who is…*gasp* Is that…MY SISTER? ” His eyes opened wide as seething rage coursed through his veins. Like him, his sister was placed inside the cylindrical containers but she only had two tubes with red and purple liquids flowing in. She looked ill, her skin was sunken and her bones were starting to show through her flesh. Seeing this made Ace shout in rage saying, ”YOU MONSTERS. HOW LONG HAVE YOU KEPT HER IN THERE? GET HER OUT. ” He yelled but the Granians paid no attention to him.

As Aces anger reached new levels, his body started to change…drastically. His body grew longer as his fingertips turned into claws. His veins bulged so much that they burst and out of them came his contaminated red and green blood in a slightly darker hue. His blood mixed with the green liquids and soon, it became as dark as squid ink.

The Granians stood there, confused about what just happened.

”Do you think this is a human difference mechanism? ”

”I don think so. This can be, right? ”

From Aces tank came a loud roar that sounded like a mixture of a T-Rex, from Jurassic park, and a screeching Demogorgon. The roar was so terrifying that the two Granians slowly walked away from the container.

”This is Toh. Call for backup. I repeat, call for backup. ” He said as he and his comrade pointed their guns at Aces container.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

*ROOOAAARRR*

” LET…HER…OUT!! ”
