Fictional peace

Different groups explored the foreign terrain. Nash roamed with her group in huge grasses.

”Nash… Axel warned you not to go too far from the base? ”A tuft hits Sams face as Nash releases it.

”Calm down Sam. Who will tell him? ”

”Finally ” she sighed as she exited the huge lawn

A tall white building with a dark gate stood in front of them. The silence around the tower. made the scene more terrifying.

Sam bowed as he begged nash. ”We explored much for today, we should go back now it doesn feel right ”

”Look up dude ” someone pointed towards Nash.

Nash stood at the opening. It was dark but still, she could see some eyes roaming in there.

[Not ready yet] Nash looked behind as he heard this weird voice.

Sam came running towards Nash. He grabbed Nashs arm and tried to pull her back ”Lets go back please ”

”I am not planning to go in there too but ”

”Yeah we shouldn ” Nash scratched her head as they went away from the tower.

In the base. Axel and Oliver talked about the barriers as Vista entered the scene.

”What kind of barriers are you talking about? ”

”We found similar barriers like in that building, ” Leon replied as he stood there listening to the conversation.

”Do you know anything about these barriers? ”

Vista asks Nero.

[I am familiar with this place as much as you ]

Vista goes to the cave again to train. He punches the wall but nothing happens. He tried lifting rocks. He even started a fire trying to control the flames. He almost tried every superpower he knew but nothing happened.

”Are you sure you have abilities ”

[You will realise soon as anyone else of your mates can use one of his] Now Vista was more curious and tried his stupid attempts again.

Nash took her team on another adventure. She was more curious about this place after seeing the tower. They also reached the barrier.

Sam tried to sharpen his weapons from the tower.

”You are not afraid of this ”

”I am rather curious and what bad could happen this is a barrier you know. But we should leave the sun is almost setting ”

[Time to leave] Nash heard that unfamiliar sound again but she couldn find the person who said those words. Nash, although fearless of the situation, couldn forget the hunters death.

”Time to leave ”

Everyone was tired but these words from Nash motivated them, that they were even though energised to run.

The motivated cheers of the group mixed with the clip-clop, and running of a horse. A rider embedded in the horse barged into the barrier. He brayed at the group as it challenged them. They had fought weird creatures in their hunts but this one was new. What could be more terrifying than an unusual threat?

It looked toward Sam with his terrifying looks. He came running towards Sam. Sam tried to run.

Nash came in between it and Sam. She had swords in her hands covered with flames as she blocked the horse with them.

The kin at the back of the horse started to harden. It pulled an arrow out of its back skin. It pointed its arrow towards nash. Nash tilts her head. The arrow gets past her, taking a strand of her hair along with it.

Nash took in nesk and flames from her swords formed waves that engulfed the horse. It burned in flames as it whined. The horse created another arrow from its skin. Nash ran around, as the horse tried to aim at her.

Sam witnessing the situation pulls his arrow from the quiver. His hands trembled as he aimed toward the horse. The arrow slips from his hands.

The arrow barely reaching the horse gets the horses attention. The horse shifts his aim at Sam.

Sam leaves the bow and runs as fast as he can.

”Thx for the distraction ”Nash jumps towards the head of the rider. Nash separates its head from its body.

As his body falls the loaded arrow gets to shoot in the air.

The body of the horse starts converting to particles that come toward Nashs sword. The sword disappears from her hand as Nash looks at it.

”Thx for saving me ” Sam starts crying as he grabs Nash and falls to the ground.

”Calm down buddy ”

Vista still couldn get to know his abilities, so he leaves the cave and comes back to the base.

The base was excited, and Nash showed off her sword at the base creating flames with it.

”So she already did it ”

”How did you do it, ” Vista walks up to Nash while he faces the ground.

”I could just use it, I can summon it whenever I want ”

”I mean the abilities ”

”Ooh ! the fire well I take some of these weird particles and in exchange, I can create these flames. Wait! can you do it too ”

Vista shows her the bracelet ”No abilities through ”

Sam grabs his hand and looks at the bracelet.

Vista pulls his hand.

”Let me see you also have a dragon-like on nashs sword ”

”Can you hear sounds too? ”Nash asks Vista.

”Yeah ”

Everyones attention shifts towards the opposite side where Oliver holds a royal blue bow with water drifting around him.

”Is that how you do it? ” as he looks at Nash mocking her.

”I did it first ”

One by one everyone was able to summon their weapons. Seeing that Vista goes back to the cave and tries to find his abilities.

”Do you even have any abilities? ”

[I have no information about that]

Leon could use boots with which came an increase in agility and sparks of electricity.

Sam could create weapons.

Lara could heal.

Everyone had different abilities.

Vista, disappointed by his attempts, sleeps on the roof of the cave. He tries to sleep but just keeps switching sides. It wasn the first time he felt worthless but his worth in this situation was much more severe. He goes back in search of his abilities.

”Nothing seems to work. ”

[Well you can try using my 2nd ]

”Can you shut up! Whats the benefit if I can even use any ability? ”Frustrated by the attempts, Vista got impulsive.

[You can work on things you have, maybe I don have one]

Vista sits on the ground panting as he sees a ray of light entering the cave. Vista after thinking for a few minutes and ending his frustration decides. ”Tomorrow, onwards we will work on your 2nd form. ”

He goes back to the base. ”I am not the only one with no sleep ”

Everyone was using their abilities to renovate everything.

There were dining tables around the base. The roof was now well constructed.

Vista saw Leon and Lara eating with Sam.

”My abilities are better no doubt about it ”

”You can only create weapons, you could do it better you know without this stupid ability of yours. ”

As they both argued, Vista sat silently with them.

”What is your ability? ” they gazed towards Vista.

”None I guess ”Hiding his disappointment with a smile.

”I thought I was the last one to do it, ”Lara mumbled.

”You have two abilities, Lara, now you can also create those barriers, you are still disappointed. ”

”Two abilities, mind sharing one with me ” vista laughed.

”I wish I could ”

Nash entered the scene

”So whats your ability ”

”I don think I have any ”

”Really! you like the main character dude, don be upset about it ”

” I am not, ” he laughed.

”Lets go for some hunting maybe you will awaken it later on ”

” I think I will help in building today ”

”Your choice bud ”

Vista goes to help builders. Each one of them used their abilities to craft some crafted wood, the grass around worked as machines. Even the plants helped them in the construction.

”Can I help with something? ”

”Whats your ability? You know we gotta choose your work based on that. ”

”Never mind ”Vista leaves. Although Vista was excited about the mystery everyone had but still was disappointed with his worthlessness.

[You should sleep it will be best for you]

”Lets try summoning your 2nd form, maybe that will help me sleep. ”

Vista summons Nero as he enters the cave.

Vista realises he feels weaker if Nero is summoned.

”You are a parasite sucking my strength, do you and your buddies have some bad effects on us? ”

[I don think so]

”So lets begin ”

Vista closed his eyes. He could easily collect nesk with blue colours so he collected them.

[More ]

Vista started to collect orange-coloured ones now.

”Previously it worked with these you know ” he panted. It requires more nesk than he thought.

Vista forces red nesk to come towards Nero.

[more] Nero takes nesk and sighs.

Vista tries to take in more nesk but he starts being unconscious.

He Lays on the ground and pants.

[We were close you know]

”Yeah I guess ”

”I could see paths of nesk this time my vision for this nesk is getting clearer and clearer ”

Vista concentrated more, now he could see pathways of nesk.

Vista opened his eyes and he still could see the pathways.

”I think the colour signifies the amount red is for more and violet for least just like wavelength ”

[What do you mean by wavelength]

”I am not here to teach science ”

[What do you mean by science]

”You can think of it as the human ability ” Vista couldn think of any animal talking to him nevertheless, he expected them to be curious about science.

Vista roams in the forest.

Vista looked for different nesk pathways as he walked. He considered it as training. He saw a rabbit that had many lines of nesk connected to him.

Vista forced some of that nesk towards himself.

”Wanna meet your buddy ”

[These are just inferior creatures who were not chosen as your allies so live here to be slain by you.]

Vista tries to disconnect his pathway.

”Its tough to steal it from someone else ”

Vista forces the nesk to disconnect from the rabbit. Nero appeared on Vistas neck and gazed at the rabbit.

Vista connected one of his lines to his own body, and the rabbit screamed at Vista as if he took a toy from a kid.

[It realised his place. I think someone is calling you]

Nero hides inside vistas clothes.

”I am here Lara ”Vista answers the call and starts walking towards her voice.

” Yo whats up ”

”Why are you being so jolly? I thought you were sad about your abilities ”

”I don have any, no need for improving my control of nesk ”

”Whats nesk ”

Vista followed her as she walked. Vista knew everyone else was training in their abilities so he thought everyone already knew about it.

”Didn your ally tell you? ”

”You mean that weird voice I hear sometimes ”

”You don talk with it! ”

”Wait! We can ”

”Yeah wanna meet him ”

”Not interested. ”

”Are you even interested in anything, you don wanna do any work ”

”Maybe ”

”Where are we going, Lara ”

”A place to sit in your cave, I am tired you know ” as she clasped Vistas shoulders.

[So you are shy towards the opposite genders] Nero laughs.

”Shut up ” Vista in his mind.

”The cave you are looking for is in the opposite direction ”

Lara and Vista sit on the roof of the cave.

Lara swings her legs as she gives Vista the food she brought for him.

”Is everyone back? ”

”Yeah ” As she gulps the food.

”What is Axels ability ”

”He says he can control time, but I believe him. She continued talking as she chewed the meat.

”You can eat then we will talk ”

”Why do you keep asking about other people? ”

”Uhmm so whats your ability? ”

”I thought I would come to know something about you, but whatever, healing and sometimes I can form this barrier ”

She constructs a pink disk in front of them and keeps eating while talking.

Vista flicks the disk and laughs ”You don listen to anyone do you ”

Vista still remembered her words and wanted to talk with her about her past life. After thinking a little and collecting courage.

”This is more difficult than collecting nesk, ”Vista said in his head.

[You are bad in both by the way.]

” Are you comfortable talking about your past? ”

”Yeah yeah, anything you want to know ”

”Was that a joke? I mean about that prostitute thing, it was a joke right? ”

”no, I was sold by my father for being pretty, I guess, ” she laughed as if it was a joke not hiding her sadness but laughing.

Vista noticed that laugh. He thought maybe she has seen worse thats why these conversations are normal for her.

Vista after some time and uttering some alphabet finally jumbles up a sentence.

”If we ever go back I will try to help you there ”

”Do you think we will be able to go back ”

”Yeah ”

”I am happier here ”

Vista asked Lara about her past life. He couldn do anything but just feel sorry for her story.

”Why do you think we are on a different planet ”

”Its because of the stars I loved astronomy and this view can never be seen by the earth. ”

”Its already dark ”

”Is that what they meant by time flies with friends? ”

” Are we friends? ” Lara asks in a weakened voice.

”Yeah yeah, everyone here is your friend, Leon, Sam ”

”Would they accept me as a friend if I told them about my past? ”Lara didn talk much with other people. She was busy healing others and everything he heard while healing them was praise that she didn care for.

”Yeah, yeah ”

”You think so ”back in her energy as usual.

” Stay as this and anyone will befriend you. ”

Vista looks away and stands up.

”We should talk to them ”

”Now, ok help me okay? ”

They go back to the base. Sam cries a little at her past then all of them support her and after dinner, they all go back to sleep.

Axel stands at the door and eavesdrops on the conversation.
