”Lara, come on what are you waiting for ”

Leon pulls Laras arm but she still looks behind as she tries to find someone.

The group assembled to make their way to the unknown building. They reach the tower.

An Arch shape gate with no light passing through it serves as an entry to the tower.

Axel commands them ”Those with Healing abilities will stay in the middle, Leon lead ”

There was no discussion about who the leader was, but everyone knew whose orders they knew on whom they could depend.

Leon enters the tower, excited and scared. His fear increases as he feels intense pressure as he makes his way in.

The torches at the walls start to ignite. Everyone feels the pressure but they were more terrified by the number of creatures that roamed in front of them. Inside roamed trees that walked with their roots. The hedgehogs they were familiar with roamed inside.

Oliver comes in front and tries to collect nesk, although its difficult for him he manages to do it.

Cats with red skin that roamed inside suddenly gazed at Oliver. As a cat jumps at Oliver, Oliver launches an arrow that marks the beginning of their hunt.

Trees swing their vines toward the group. Sam creates a barrier in front of them.

Sam creates Openings for others to attack. Sam creates another barrier in front of them blocking the trees path. The trees frustrated by the barriers start whipping the barriers with their vines.

Other guys work in teams and hunt monsters.

Leon runs past the Hedgehogs and catches their attention. Leon reaches the gate.

A giant gate with a sculpture of a bird at the centre.

A spine cuts Leon from the back as he stares at the bird. The hedgehog comes rolling towards Leon. Axel slashes the hedgehog in two halves.

An array of hedgehogs attack Axel. Axel summons a white spear with two thick light blue blades on both sides. A single swing of his blade resulted in the death of a creature.

The particles from every creature they hunted entered their weapons as they slaughtered more and more of them.

Leon rushes toward Lara while grabbing his arm. ”Your first, patient ”

Sam reaches Axel as he pulls his spear out of the last hedgehog.

”The tower is bigger than it looks from outside ”

”Theres nothing in this place that is similar to its outer appearance. ”

The sculpture at the gate starts to move. The sculpture distorts. The bird comes out of the gate and flaps its wings and starts flying around the room as everyone gazes at them.

Sam constructs a gun aiming toward the bird. He starts firing toward the bird.

The bird dodges the bullets flying around. As a counter, it creates a group of boulders that he tosses toward the group.

Some manage to dodge while others get injured.

As Lara heals them, the bird stops at a place and creates a bigger boulder.

”Lets defend ourselves by attacking it ”Oliver comes in front facing as he is going to face the boulder head-on. Oliver launches an arrow that gets bigger as it goes towards the boulder, shattering it to pieces.

Sam launches a rocket toward the bird. The rocket hits the bird, creating gas around the bird. The bird clears its vision by flapping its wings.

The birds scream as it flies around and throws pointed rocks at them with extreme accelerations. No one except Leon and Axel can dodge them unscathed.

Lara looks toward her leg. A rock had pierced. Lara sits on the floor and pulls the rock with one hand and covers her mouth with the other hand. Lara sees several people standing in front of her seeking help.

Lara witnesses Olivers right arm injured. Oliver launches arrows toward the bird as his arm bleeds. Oliver folds his sleeves as the cloth gets soaked in blood.

With her leg incompletely healed, she moves toward Oliver and starts to heal his arm.

The bird sends more rocks toward them. Sam creates barriers around them. Cracks start appearing in the barrier as the rocks hit.

”Haste up Lara, I won be able to maintain this more than a minute ”

Sam sees a rock three times the size of a human flying towards a guy.

Sam moves toward him and creates an incomplete barrier in his range.

Trying to create a barrier Sam comes in front of the rock. The barrier is crushed by the rock. Leon runs toward Sam and barely manages to save him.

”Are you fine buddy ”

Sam grabs his leg as he nods. Leon sees blood coming below the rock.

Sam stands up and stands beside Oliver.

”Oliver, launch as many arrows as you can and distract the bird. I will try to hunt it too ” Sam attacks the bird with several missiles he creates. The missiles create smoke around the bird. One of Olivers arrows hit the eye of the bird.

Oliver creates a sword with thrusters. The sword flies toward screaming in pain. The bird tries to grab the one arrow by its wings. The sword with extreme speed reaches the bird piercing the wings of the bird.

The bird loses its wing and falls to the ground.

It stands up and creates a wall around itself.

Rocks start floating above the groups head.

Axel gazes at Leon. Leon doesn understand what his command was. ”What! ”

The rocks start falling. Everyone gazes at the rocks.

Axel starts carrying people away from the rocks.

”Okay I get it ”

Leon helps other people to dodge the rocks.

Axel teleports Oliver and Sam above the walls.

Oliver and Sam gaze at the bird in the cage it crafted itself. Birds walk around the corners of the walls as it screams looking at them.

Oliver jumps down the walls. Sam fires from several guns.

The walls fell as the particles from the bird joined Olivers bows. The gate started opening as the bird fell.

Everyone was scared of what lies past the gate but none of them dared to fall back either.

”Should we rest or approach the gate? ”Oliver asks axel. ”We can wait until Lara heals up everyone ”

A girl sliding on the ice comes toward Lara ”We should go back Lara, I don think it was a great idea to even come here ”

”Ava, calm down these are just minor injuries ”

Leon tries to push the rock as he counts in his head.

”1,2,3 14 ”

”14 ”

”14 ”

Leon remembers the guy that stood with Sam while the rock crushed the barrier. This was the first time Leon experienced such a feeling. He felt responsible for the guys death. This burden was too heavy for him. He thought of talking this out with someone. He looked towards Sam then towards Lara who was busy healing others.

Axel teleports behind him ”Don do it, this will destroy others morale ”His sudden appearance engages Leon. Leon grabs Axel by his neck and pushes him against the rock.

”Why didn you save him? ”

”I can ask the same question to you ”

”I didn notice I ”

”Calm down, this won do any good for the others ”

Leon looked around and everyone talked in slow motion. Lara hears a low-pitched scream and sees it.

She notices Leon and Axel talking. Axels words couldn lift the burden off his shoulder but he was able to convince him not to share this weight with others.

Leon leaves the conversation as he walks nearby Lara. Leon, the most cheerful guy in the group, ignores Lara. This was strange for her.

They entered the next gate. The pressure exceeded, but what was more terrifying was the flock of birds, as they roamed around.

This time there was no other gate but a staircase.

Panicked by the situation, Leon ran towards the staircase and an invisible barrier stopped him in between and the birds noticed him.

The birds screamed at him like a chick screams when they see a bug.

Water balls, fire and rocks come toward Leon. Leon runs for his life, barely dodging them.

He reaches back to the group as the flock follows him.

”Are you sure we are here to hunt! ”

They decide to divide into three groups. One with Lara, Others had Leon and Axel that could carry an injured guy to Lara. They didn realise it was putting a lot of pressure on Lara. They did realise that someone was missing but they didn have time to think about that either.

The rocks attacked them again and again. Sam created several barriers but they end up getting broken again and again.

”It wasn my fault. Not mine ” Leon tries to assemble himself as the vision of the blood comes in front of his eyes again and again.

A guy in his group falls as a fireball hits him. ”What am I doing? ”Leon starts blaming himself as he sees anyone in his group with injuries.

Leon carries him to Lara where already two injured guys were healed by her. Leon looks toward Lara who has her leg injury still incompletely healed.

Leon slaps himself as hard as he could. He starts running toward a bird. Although no one had even a second to spare, everyone witnessed this scenario.

”Has he gone insane? ”

Leon jumps toward a bird and kicks the bird. Lightning bolts come out of his boots and cover his leg, sending the bird flying across the room.

It catches other birds attention and they fly towards Leon.

Leon dodges one of them and kicks the other pushing him to the ground.

The birds disappear and the particles from them upgrade his boots to a new look. Leon feels lighter as he jumps around.

”An upgrade on a tough stage, what could be better ” Leon could dodge the attacks of the birds easily. Not only did the strength in his legs increase but his agility far exceeded what it was. As Leon dodged the birds attacks, he saw Ava being attacked by a flock.

Leon rushed to her aid. Ava had created an ice wall that blocked the birds attack but she had no openings to attack. Leon jumped on the ice wall she created.

Ava notices a fading white wolf on his shoulder. Leon jumps toward the bird, the force shatters the wall and Leons kick shatters the bird.

Axel carries two more guys to Lara. Lara starts to lose strength in her body.

The birds start to fly in a group forming a tornado. They all combine, spawning three birds.

Oliver distracts the second one with his arrows.

”Lara lookout ”a rock comes flying towards her.

”This is not the right time ”Axle comes in front of her and slices the rock into two halves.

”Sam, how much longer can you keep up the barrier? ”As Axels words end, the barrier gets destroyed. Sam falls as he loses consciousness.

The protection for everyone injured waiting gets fallen apart. As the barrier shatters, so does the hope of the group. The group falls apart, and everyone runs for their lives toward the gate.

The last bird comes flying towards the group. A guy with his leg hurt wobbles. He is no longer able to sense his legs which makes it easier for him to bear the pain. Unfortunately, he is the last one in the group trying to escape.

The bird picks up the guy by his beak and throws him towards a wall. He feels intense pain in his back as his body slides down the wall. He no longer has the strength to scream. The jerk at his fall gives him peace from the pain.

The bird comes towards Lara and tries to attack her without its beak. Lara creates a barrier that stops its beak.

Ava launches an ice spear toward the bird. The bird deflects the spear with its tail.

The bird gazes at Ava.

”Shi* ” Ava starts running in the opposite direction but the bird catches up to her.

The bird now standing in front of Ava gazes at her and screams. The terrific scream sends a gust of wind toward Ava. She closes her eyes and covers her ears with her hands.

Leon notices her again. ”Does she love being cornered? ”

Ava attacks the bird with her spears but it deflects it again.

The bird opens his beak and comes running towards Ava. Ava creates another ice spear and holds it tightly.

Leon kicks the lower beak of the bird and its lower beak dislocates.

The bird backs off. It starts hitting its beak with its wings trying to fix it.

Leon and Ava group up with the remaining members.

Sam tries to stand up but falls.

”The door is closing, ” Oliver screams.

The group running toward the gate are about to reach the gate.

A Bird launches fire in front of the door and starts hunting as they are cornered by the flames. The guy closest to the flames falls as he gets burnt by the flames.

A bird grabs him by his claws and slams him to the ground. The bird covers the head of the guy inside in his beak and bites. He leaves the body without a head. Others inside the flames try not to look at the corpse. One by one the people inside the flames started decreasing and the number of corpses increased.

One of the birds screams as it gives the command to the other two. The bird flies towards the exit.

”Its like they want this place to be our grave ” Leon pants and completes the sentence. Leon feels cramps in his legs as he moves.

”Lara is busy healing Sam. Oliver is trying to extinguish the fire. Where is ”

The birds use a combined attack with rocks and fire. The rock covered in flames about to explode comes towards Leons group.

Axel takes in nesk and the attack stops in its place.

Leon rushes towards the rocks, kicks the rocks several times at different portions and it shatters.

The birds stand in front of the door waiting for them. To increase their strength the birds combine into a Phoenix.

The remaining guys inside the flames attack the birds but it has no effect. The bird doesn even try to dodge or deflect the attacks.

The Phoenix opens his beak for another attack. Lara binds the birds beak with her barriers. Sam chains the Phoenix with thick metal chains connected to the ground.

Oliver launches arrows that extinguish the flames. The people inside the flames are surrounded by corpses, walking on the bloodied path, moving towards the gate.

Leon tries to run but can as his legs don support him.

Axel uses his time barrier on the Phoenix providing them with a few seconds. Most of them can pass the gate. The bird escapes the barrier and launches several small rocks.

A sharp curled piece of rock pierces Sams arm weakening the barrier. Lara and Sam were the only ones left. Finally able to escape hell, they forget about them. Sam loses his strength again, the birds break the chains and in fury attack Lara.

Sam tries to create a barrier in front of her but is unable to. The bird flies toward Lara and tears her arm apart with its claws. Lara falls to her knees. She grabs her shoulder with her other arm. The barrier on the beak of the bird disappears as Lara coughs blood out of her mouth.

The birds come to attack again, this time it comes for sam. ”Sam runs, ” Lara tells Sam as She binds the bird with the last of her strength. Sam looks toward Lara with his eyes covered in tears. She gives an incomplete smile.

Laras barrier disappears and the bird tears Laras torso apart. Leon takes his eyes away as he sees her corpse on the ground.
