“Yi Yi, I really couldn’t bear to part with you back then either.” Meng Xuexin was crying on the other end of the phone and her voice turned hoarse.

Lu Wanwan went to the bathroom to turn on the hot water and pushed the person in, “You hurry up and take a hot shower to avoid catching a cold.”

Shen Yi squeezed the dry towel she handed over, nodded his head and obediently went into the bathroom.
He took a hot shower, changed into pajamas and slippers, before walking back up to her, lowering his eyes, he said “I’m done washing up.”

Lu Wanwan said “oh” without understanding why he specially came up to her to tell her that.

In the middle of the night, Shen Yi began to have a low fever, his pale face started to gradually turn burning hot.
Sickly and weak, he was lying in bed without any strength left in his limbs.

At first, Lu Wanwan did not notice that he had a fever.
She woke up in the middle of the night feeling thirsty, so she went to the kitchen to drink water.
That’s when she saw that the guest room’s door was opened by a slit and that the lights in the room were still on.

Lu Wanwan put down the glass of water in her hand, before opening the door and walking in with light steps.

He was most likely having a fever.

The man in the bed was frowning even in his sleep, he was murmuring in a low voice and it was hard to hear what he was saying.

Lu Wanwan went to the medicine cabinet to find a fever-reducing medicine.
Just when she was about to wake the man up to let him take the medicine, Shen Yi opened his eyes.
