ly? Then, what kind of expression should I make? Tell me.”

“Do what you want.”

Gulping down the beer, Yernia glanced at Cassian’s doppelganger as if she had a lot of questions to ask.

“I have been wondering why you’re here.”

“I wanted to do what I wanted to do before I got married.
Oh, come to think of it.
I heard a rumor about a bride, who was about to get married, was having an affair—-”

“Me? I never did that.”

“Nevermind.”

Yernia jutted her chin as she stared Cassian’s doppelganger down.

He had a fierce countenance that was very similar to his childhood friend.

She attempted to trace his eyelids impulsively with her fingers.

Frowning, the man threw his head back and avoided her hands.

“You look exactly like someone I know no matter how often I look at you, sir.”

There was no way that Cassian would visit this bar.

The doppelganger clearly stated that he had come here all dressed up to do everything he wanted to do before marriage and soothe his frustration.

Yet, it was clear that Cassian would loathe this place.

This person was just someone who looked like him.

“You are fascinating.”

“Honestly, I am more amazed by you.
I wonder if you are too far gone.”

Yernia shook her head to refute that remark as she put some grapes in her mouth.

“No, I’m not drunk.
Not yet.
Oh.” Yernia cradled her jaws with her hands.
“My head.”

The world seemed to spin every time she moved her head.

The man suppressed a laugh.

“What else do you want to talk about your upcoming marriage?”

“I don’t know.”

She didn’t tell him because she didn’t want to answer.

Yernia didn’t trust Cassian’s counterpart at all.

His mouth seemed to twist the longer he observed Yernia, too fixated on her snack.

He gripped Yernia’s chin and urged her to look at him.
“Then why are you cheating on me like this?”

“Cheating?”

“It must have been easy for you to drink and play with another man before getting married.”

“This conversation… I’m not even engaged to him yet.
If I wasn’t engaged, I wouldn’t even count as his fiance.
So whatever I do with you right now, it’s not cheating.”

“What are we doing?”

“Nothing.”

Tapping a finger on her chin, Yernia looked at the fruit snack again.

His face resembled Cassian, and she couldn’t help but feel guilty.

Nevertheless, Yernia was prepared to some extent just in case nothing could stop this marriage.

There was nothing else she could do.

“I have no intention of doing anything with you.”

“Why?”

“You look so much like my childhood friend.”

“I’m not your unfortunate friend.”

Yernia laughed at his words.

She had already considered him as a friend.

“No, you two seemed alike.
Not my cup of tea.”

The scowling man wasn’t impressed, and it made her feel like she was talking to Cassian.
