She looked it over a few times, made sure that there he was so handsome that he didn’t need any editing, and posted it onto her own friend's circle.

She blocked [Gu Yanlin] from seeing the photo and clicked “post”.

She blocked Gu Yanlin because she didn’t want him to get a big head.

After Gu Xi had posted her update that Gu Yanlin did not have the permission to view, she saw that Gu Yanlin, too, had posted an update: [Entered into a competition with the princess of our family.]

Under the photo, he responded to someone: [Cute, eh? My family.]

The photo was taken at the wait area of the venue earlier today per the request of Gu Yanlin.

There were three of them in the photo but Gu Yanlin had edited out the extra Sheng Xiuyan.

The way he was edited out was crude and simple.

When Gu Xi arrived at school, she was met with Dong Mingming’s lovestruck look.

“I know.” Gu Xi gave Dong Mingming a guilty look: Dong Mingming had posted nonstop under that friend's circle’s update since Gu Xi had posted the photo.

The one three-person, em, two-person photo that she had reposted from Gu Yanlin.

“Yes, yes, I saw that.” Dong Mingming nodded with a big smile.
Something occurring to her, she gave Gu Xi a dubious look and asked curiously, “But, who’s that other person that was pixelated? A good friend? Someone else at the competition? Or someone on your team?”

The pixelation was so peculiar that one could not help but notice it.

Gu Xi’s lips twitched when she saw the curious look on Dong Mingming.
“Would you believe me if I told you that was Sheng Xiuyan?”

“God Xiu? Are you serious?!” Dong Mingming’s eyes widened incredulously.
She pulled the photo up again and looked at it carefully.
Judging from the areas that was “missed”, she could sort of tell that the person did resemble Sheng Xiuyan.

“Sheng Xiuyan went to watch you compete as well?” asked Dong Mingming.
She then thought about it some more.
That didn’t make sense.
“He was in the competition too?”

Gu Xi nodded.
“We are on the same team.”

“When did you start a team?” How come she didn’t know about it?

“A while back.
But I only found out that he is my teammate yesterday.” Seeing the baffled look on Dong Mingming, Gu Xi explained to her how Sheng Xiuyan was randomly looking for teammates online and how she had randomly joined their chatgroup.

After listening to the story, Dong Mingming’s look even more perplexed.

“What kind of bizarre fate is that……” murmured Dong Mingming.

Dong Mingming frowned again the next second.
Lifting her cellphone back up, she asked curiously, “If he’s on your team, why was he pixelated out?”

He might simply find Sheng Xiuyan an eyesore.

“Your Big Brother and Sheng Xiuyan are both this type of person.
