Gerald frowned.
Giving up to Uroboros was too easy and he would end up being manipulated.

“I can’t do that.” Uroboros burst into laughter.

“You humans don’t know anything.
All right, then I’ll tell you another way.
Unlock my seal.
Bring chaos back into the world.
If you kill God, humans will be devastated.
It’s worth watching! You can think of it as the price for lying!”

“That will not work for me either,” Gerald replied firmly.

Slurp, slurping.

Uroboros narrowed the gap.
“Then what can you do for me?”

“Tell me what can I do as a human being?”

“Hmm……” The snake smacked its lips.

Gerald is a human being who was nothing more than prey that can be swallowed in one bite.
Uroboros felt a hunger that he had never felt before.

But this was a long-awaited opportunity for Uroboros.
He could not miss it because he was hungry.

“Take me out.”

“Do you want me to unwrap the seal?”

“No.
Correct the lies and tell the truth.
You know the one who writes history is the victor.
Now the whole truth is distorted.
Just because my brother won.”

“And after telling the truth?”

“If I bite that neck, the world won’t disappear.
What happens is that the false god disappears and the original god returns.”

Gerald nodded, “What is the possibility of humans getting involved in a war?”

“Do you care for human beings? Funny.
We’re gods, Gerald.
You’re the one who can get me out of here.”

Gerald held his breath to determine the authenticity of Uroboros.
He had to notice even the slightest little agitation from Uroboros.

“But humans cannot engage in our fight.
All you have to do is check the body that fell off of your neck.
Whether the fake wins or the real wins.”

“………I need an oath.
A vow that you will never harm the human world.
And a vow to stop the white snake from doing anything and to protect Louella.”

“I promise.” Uroboros blinked its huge eye.
He breathed a strong breath into Gerald.

A purple sentence rose on the back of Gerald’s hand.

“It’s a promise from God.
It will never break.
If I break my promise, it will be the death of me.”

Gerald nodded.

There was a transparent bottle of red blood floating in the air.

“Is that all you wanted?”

“……That’s right.”

“Well, then the negotiations have concluded.”

Uroboros smiled amusedly.
His huge body was sucked into Gerald’s bracelet.

[The day has finally come.
You have crossed the line.
Let’s go back to the human world!]

Gerald fiddled with his wrist and slipped out of the loop.

Underneath, the abyss remained the same.

However, the chilly energy and pressure that had previously lingered had subsided.
Uroboros’ laughter seemed to remain in his ears.

“You really brought the monster’s blood?”

“Because I promised.
Billiers, you have to keep your word.
It’s about finding out about the mechanism of Nisephor.”

Billiers stared at Gerald with a strange expression.

“May I ask why you’re pushing yourself so much?”

Gerald laughed coldly.
“No.”

It wasn’t something he could say and he didn’t want to reveal it.

‘Louella should not know.’

The pain should not be remembered.
He didn’t want her to know that he couldn’t save the baby she wanted to protect.

Gerald shrugged his shoulders.

“Okay, let’s do research with this precious blood first.”

If Nisephor is caused by monster blood, then through what channels did Louella get infected?

Louella was not near where the Monster Wave took place.

[Is that the only monster there? Where are my brothers?]

Uroboros chuckled and whispered in his mind.

[People who don’t know anything should go to the temple in March to pray for a safe year.]

He did not know what was lurking there.

Gerald clenched his teeth.
In the end, all of this was White Uroboros’ ruse.
Gerald’s anger burned coldly.

At least Louella should not be touched.
It would have been better if it was Gerald who drove him to death.
He clenched his fist.

“Please cooperate with me well, Billiers.” Gerald turned out.

They were getting closer to the whole truth.
Gerald had played to God’s rhythm his whole life and he felt empty.
