A little boy with golden hair was playing in a garden full of roses, he was planting new flowers and was happily giggling away at his achievement.

He was finally able to plant a flower.

”Hey there, little guy. ” A sweet, soft voice calls out; startling the little boy.

”Hi. ” The boy said, turning his little head, so he could see who was speaking.

”Whats your name? The man asked, squatting down to the boys height, so he wouldn have to strain his little neck to see him.

”Reynard! Where are you? ” A loud feminine voice called from somewhere around the garden.

”Over here, Mom! ” The little boy shouted in his sweet little voice.

”Reynard, ” The man repeated. ”What a name. ” The man said with an enigmatic smile that frightened the little boy.

”Rey …. Selena paused when she noticed a stranger in her garden. ”Who are you? ”

The stranger turned and smirked evilly, looking at her from head to toe. His face made Selena suddenly feel Eerie.

Every hair on her body suddenly stood at the sight of the stranger. Selena pulled Reynard behind her in reflex, before asking again, ”Who are you? ”

Snubbing her, the stranger walked past her before giving her a curt response, ”Im here for Ramiel! ”

”Why? What do want? ” Selena asked, holding tightly to her son and at the same time, she made a fighting stance.

The stranger looked at her stance and grinned. ”Don even try. You can fight me. ” The strange man said with a straight face.

He walked lackadaisically towards the house as if he owns it. ”Ive got unfinished business with Ramiel, and Im here to take him. ”

Ramiel opened the door to go look for Raynard and Selena, wondering what was taking them so long. He sauntered backward with a look of bewilderment at the person he found at the door.

”Lucifer? ” He gasped, bewildered.

Lucifer would never leave hell except if the mission is extremely important and his attention was urgently needed. Hence, Ramiel was stunned to see him at his doorstep.

”Ramiel, Why did you abandon your mission? ” Why did you ignore me when I called you back to hell? Why did you choose to defy me? ” Lucifer threw various questions at Reynard.

Selena rushed In with little Raynard in her arms. She was stunned to see her husband talking to the stranger.

It looked like they were acquainted.

”You know him? ” She looked from her husband to the strange man. ”Who is he, Ramiel? ” She whispered. ”What business do you have with him? ” Selena was getting some dangerous and wicked vibes from the strange man.

Ramiel didn respond, his gaze was fixed on Lucifer. ”Take Reynard inside! He ordered.

Understanding the urgency in Ramiels tone, Selena knew something was wrong. The stranger must be dangerous.

Holding tightly to her son, Selena was about to move but suddenly stopped. Astounded by how fast the stranger appeared in front of her.

”Oh No_You won be taking the boy! ”

Lucifer took Little Raynard away from Selena in a flash, frightening the little one with his speed.

”What do you want? ” Ramiel yelled.

”I want my favorite demon back! Ramiel, I want you back in hell! ”

”I won go back! ” Ramiel blatantly refused.

”Well, no problem. Then Ill take little Raynard with me. ”

”No way! Selena snarled.

”Lucifer! This is between you and me, do not involve my son. Raynard is innocent! ” Ramiel said in a low but not pleasant tone.

”Innocent? ” Lucifer said with a sneer. Then he pressed his mid-finger on Raynards forehead and smirked. ”Now he isn . ”

”What did you do to him? Selena snapped seeing Little Raynard suddenly pass out. She attacked Lucifer.

With a snap of Lucifers finger, Selena became still like a stone.

Still bewildered, Ramiels gaze fixated on Raynard. ”You killed him and awoke the beast in him? ”

Ignoring Ramiels question, Lucifer said in a demonic voice. ”You abandoned the mission for them. You forsake your brother for them. Now watch how I destroy them both! ”

”No! Please! Don hurt him! ” Ramiel pleaded. ”Ill go with you. ”

”Of course, you will. ” Lucifer turned his head menacingly. ”Still, Ill have them punished for your mistake! ”

Saying that; Selena was transformed into a stone wolf and Little Raynard suddenly started floating in the air as Lucifer roared.

”You abandoned the mission because you fell in love. Your son must never make the same mistake as you. He will now be immortal with numerous powers. He will live a long, dejected, and torturous life!

”He will never find love! ”

”Hell be undefeatable! Unbeatable! Unstoppable And… Unlovable!

*Six hundred years later…*

”Thank You so much for your help, I really appreciate your kind heart and I wish to do something for you in return. ” A woman dressed in all black said in a voice filled with gratitude.

”Its really okay, I don need anything, I only helped you for humanitys sake. ” The man turned to leave.

”Raynard, Son of Ramiel, your curse has been lifted, and soon youll find love. ”

Raynard paused and turned to look at the woman in astonishment.

Who was she? How could she possess the power to lift a curse placed on him by Lucifer?

As much as he would have appreciated the news, he doubted it. No one was powerful enough to lift a curse placed by Lucifer. Hence, Reynard doubted the authenticity of the news and was about to leave.

It wasn a secret to every demon that Raynard was cursed never to find love or to be loved. His heart died the day he was killed and forcefully given additional powers by Lucifer. Hence, hearing this woman say the curse has been lifted made him wonder what the hell was she talking about.

As if reading his thoughts the woman stood up and her appearance suddenly transformed into a beautiful young woman with very long silver hair.

Reynard was stunned to see the womans transformation. From her appearance, he could already tell who she was.

”The Moon Goddess? ” He mumbled with disbelief.

”You already paid for your fathers sin in the past six hundred years and now Lucifer has decided to lift your curse. ”

”He is lifting my curse? ” Reynard asked again.

Those words sounded unbelievable.

Lucifer wasn the kind of person that forgives anyone. Why would he suddenly lift the curse?

”Lucifer has forgiven you because you are one of his kind and also the son of his favorite demon. ”

”Really? ” Reynard scoffed with irritation. The son of his favorite, huh?

Did Lucifer remember that when he ruined his life?

”Also…. ” The moon goddess continued. ”I am pleased with your deeds and after what youve done today, so I give you the gift of love. ”

”Huh? ”

Now, that is surprising.

How can she give him love when Lucifer had professed his life a loveless one?

”Don doubt it, Reynard. ” The moon goddess assured him. ”Lucifer never refuses me. ” She stated proudly.

”So, I will find Love? ” Reynard repeated.

”Of course, you will. ” She affirmed. ”Soon you shall find the one who can lift your curse and make your heart beat again. ”

”I do not need a heart! Reynard snarled. ”I can survive even without breathing. Why do I need anyone? ”

He is immortal.

He can never die.

Why does he require a heart?

”You need her because she is the chosen one. ” The moon goddess announced. Her tone showed her excitement for the one shes chosen for Reynard.

”Chosen one? ” Reynard almost laughed out loud.

A chosen one for him?

”Born from the generation of Werewolf and the Sea Goddess. The offspring of both bloodlines is the only one strong enough to be your mate. ”

”Does anyone with such a bloodline exist?

Every supernatural creature knew that the sea goddess never lays with just anyone. She is choosy. So, how would it be possible to find this creature that the moon goddess just pronounced as his chosen mate?

”No one except her can wield such power. ”

”Hm, ” Reynards lips thinned as he listened on.

”You have Ramiels genes and powers. The power of Lycanthrope which you inherited from your mother and the demon bestowed upon you by Lucifer. You are the only one of your kind. Hence, your mate must also be one of a kind. ”

Reynard had no interest in all of that. He hated his powers. He hated being a demon.

”She alone can tame you. Only She can control the beast in you. And only she can summon the weapon strong enough to kill you. ”

Reynard was stunned speechless. He stared at the moon goddess in awe.

Wasn he immortal?

How can he die by a weapon?

”A weapon that can kill me? ” Reynard decided to ask.

He wanted to be sure that the moon goddess wasn pulling his legs. There was actually a weapon out there that could kill him?

”What weapon is that? Reynard inquired.

”Amadeus Trident. ” The moon goddess replied flatly.

”Amadeus Trident? Does it exist? ” Reynard frowned. His eyes held disbelief. He couldn believe that the trident was real. ”I thought it was only a Myth? Reynard voiced out.

”The Trident exists, ” The moon goddess affirmed. Her eyes locked in on Reynard as she went on.

”However, the trident suddenly disappeared thousands of years ago and the only one prophesied to be able to summon the trident is a descendant of a werewolf and the sea goddess, which is also your mate. ”

Exactly what to expect from Lucifer. He reversed the curse, but tied him to the only weapon that could kill him.

”I won thank him for this! ” Reynard hissed.

The moon goddess smiled and twirled around. Her body slowly faded into the dim moonlight. She had divulged too much information.

Looking at the Womans retreating figure, Raynard thought to inquire about his supposed mate.

”Where is she? ”

”How do I find her? ” Reynard glanced upward. His eyes were fixed on the bright moonlight.

The moon goddess chuckled, and her voice echoed from inside the soaring moon, ”Youll feel it when shes close. ”
