Never Enough.

Amalias POV

”Im bored… ” Riley sighed, huffing as she dropped down into the seat on the couch next to me. She grabbed a nearby cushion and hugged it to her chest, bringing her legs up to cross them.

”I know… ” My hands rested on my stomach, my feet hanging over the back of the couch since I was laid upside down. ”Me too. ”

Despite it being the weekend, my parents were both at work, my sister, Yuna, was out shopping with her friends and my little brother, Tao, was at a birthday party; that left Riley and I home alone with almost nothing to do. It had basically always been just the two of us, having each others back since we were five, so whatever the rest of the juniors were getting up to on their time off hardly ever involved us. I didn mind it.

As I shuffled around to sit up straight, Riley reached for the remote and switched on the TV, flicking through the channels until she came to Audio Fuse. It played music almost twenty-four hours a day, and allowed new musicians to make their debut and be introduced to the world; moments after landing on the channel, one of these segments started.
