Chapter 9 (Vickys POV)

I was staring at Andrew dumbfounded, and honestly, so was Shawna.

I guess he never talked to her like that. But lets be honest. B***h deserved every word.

But what shocked me most was that he actually took my side.

Well, we are kind of friends (with benefits after yesterday?) But she was still once a part of his life. Technically, since they share Amy, she still is.

”Oh come on Andrew, you know its not like that. But I need some time for myself. Being a mother is so hard. ”

I was more than shocked by her words. I knew Amy was with Andrew more than with her mother and she still had the audacity to say such things. I mean come on. No one heard you complaining when you spread your legs.

When I looked at Andrew, I saw anger boiling in his eyes, and honestly, I wouldn want to be in Shawnas shoes once his rage reached the boiling point.

”Listen to me, Shawna, and listen really carefully because I will say this only once. You don even know what the word mother means, so don come here whining about how hard it is to be something you are not. Second, Amy spends more time with me than she does with you, so Id say you have more than enough time for yourself, your parties and hookups. Now I will ask you one last time to walk out that door and don ever again use that key if its not for an emergency. Did I make myself clear? ”

He didn raise his voice at her. Not even once, but I got goose bumps all over my body from the authority that was evident in his voice. At the end, he just raised a single eyebrow at her. And that, oh my God, that made him so freaking hot, if he wasn holding Amy at the moment, I would definitely jump his bones.

Shawn finally realized she was in deep s**t this time.

She took a few steps away from Andrew and crossed her arms over her chest. ”We are far from over, but I won discuss our private life in front of this w***e. ”

”Shut up! Ive had enough! And stop insulting my friends and visitors! I don care if you like her or not, but show some respect for f***s sake! ”

At that, she threw one last glare my way and stormed out of Andrews house.

Suddenly, my bare feet became really interesting.

”Im sorry for that. I didn mean to be rude, but once I saw she made Amy scared, I couldn help it. I hope you
e not angry with me. If you are, I can grab my things and go to a hotel or something. Its OK. ”

Two more feet came into my vision and he put a finger under my chin, so I was forced to look at his gorgeous face.

And he was smiling at me.

”Good morning gorgeous. You look as beautiful in the morning as you do the rest of the day. Anyone ever told you that? ”

I felt my face growing hot and from the smirk on his lips I knew he was aware of what he was doing to me.

But before I could respond to him, he lowered his face and gave me a quick peck on the lips.

”Now to make it clear. You didn say anything I wasn thinking about for a long time. And I should be apologizing to you because I know what a bitch she can be and Im also sure she found many ways to insult you before you stepped on her tail. And last you are not going anywhere. I want you here and look at Amy she is trying to get to you since she saw you, I bet. ”

Finally, I looked at little monster, as Andrew liked to call her. And indeed, she had her arms spread towards me and her fingers were moving in a give me motion.

I smiled and extended my arms so she could climb to me from her fathers embrace. She was like a little monkey and was in my arms in seconds.

I held her tight and buried my nose in her hair. She still smelled like a baby. She started giggling and talking in her gibberish words.

”Hello baby girl. Its really amazing to finally see you in person and hold you, so I can tickle you. ”

She was giggling but still holding close to me.

Two arms wrapped around my waist suddenly. I didn even realize when he moved but Andrew was suddenly behind me.

”Now gorgeous, I really hope you are wearing panties under my T-shirt. ”

One hand traveled down and under the hem of his T-shirt. I knew he wouldn find anything because I was in such a hurry to find the bathroom I just threw on his shirt.

I felt his growl before Id heard it. ”You are going to be the death of me woman. I love my daughter, but I wish she wasn here right now so I could throw you over my shoulder and take you back to my bed. Id spend days showing you how anyone thats lucky enough to have you should treat you love. Id worship your body, kiss and lick every inch of your body. Id love your body thoroughly so youd never again doubt your worth. ”

His words ignited a fire in my belly and it spread lower between my legs fast.

But I remembered I was still holding Amy in my arms and, even though she wasn mine, she was still a priority. So I took a step away from Andrew and turned around. With a smirk on my lips, I put a hand on his naked chest. ”Later love. Once we put this sweety to bed. Now I was about to make breakfast, so give me just a few minutes and we can eat. Coffee is already made, so you can help yourself to it in the meantime. You young lady need to be a really good girl and wait here in your chair so auntie vivi can make you something to eat as well and that we can go for a walk. What do you say, little one? ”

She looked at me when Id put her inside her chair and her lips stretched into a huge grin and she started clapping her hands.

”Ok. So thats settled. Now coffee, food and then well go for a walk. ”
