Chapter 1950 Fated Encounter

This time around, An Jiaxin was very obedient; she drank a few cups of beer and didn’t dare to overdrink, afraid that she’ll get too drunk, and when she woke up the next morning, Ye Jian would have already left her side.

They’ve agreed to play all night, but in the end, Ye Jian had arranged a room for each and every one of them in a hotel, four of them, four rooms, by the time they were done, An Jiaxin exclaimed that she couldn’t even straighten her back now.

Ye Jian walked out of her shower; she smelled like alcohol, but she didn’t have any and noticed the girl was sprawled on the bed; her eyes shone as she looked at her, “What’s that look? I already told you I’d chat with you tonight.”

“I don’t believe you; I don’t believe you; you all are so mysterious, agreeing to keep me company, then disappear in the blink of an eye.”

Ye Jian dried her hair as she sat on the side of the bed; she asked with a smirk, “Who else is there? Why don’t you tell me? It seems like there’s a story behind it, and it’s not a simple story.”

“I’ll go take a shower first, then I’ll tell you all about it.
This is a long conversation, so we’ll have to  take it slow.” An Jiaxin exhaled into her palm, then made a disgusted face towards herself, “That stinks of booze, you wait for me, don’t you sleep, I’ll come out soon!”

At this time, Ye Jian didn’t feel drowsy; the class reunion was quite heartwarming, even the classmates who had failed the entrance exam had chosen to attend, and not avoid it, in their own words, “we’ll once again be great men after a year,” each and one of them chose to revise, and with their abilities, the results wouldn’t be too bad.

The only regrettable thing was their class monitor, Lu Xin; he didn’t choose to retake the exam and instead joined the army.

Ye Jian suddenly smacked her forehead; why didn’t she remind Lu Xin that even if he had enlisted in the army, he could still sign up for the Military Academy.  

As long as he reaches the basic requirements for a soldier signing up for Military Academy, he could absolutely try it out.

 Thinking about that, Ye Jian recalled Lu Xin’s room number and dialed it out without hesitation, he was taking care of a few boys who were wasted, and he definitely wasn’t resting now.

Lu Xin picked up the call really quickly; when he heard Ye Jian’s voice, he was surprised: “Why haven’t you slept yet? It’s already four in the morning.”

 “Class Monitor, I want to ask you about your future plans.
Are you going to be a Conscript soldier? Or a Volunteer soldier? Or do you have other plans?” Ye Jian didn’t speak of what she had thought immediately; Lu Xin was a guy who had his own decisions; she should first ask him, if he didn’t have any plans on signing up for the Military Academy, then she’ll suitably bring it up.

Lu Xin chuckled, “Don’t tell me you’re calling specifically because of this.”

 “That’s right, didn’t I say I wanted to have a chat with you.” Ye Jian sat against the headboard; her expression seemed serious, “I just thought that it’s quite regrettable since Class Monitor you didn’t retake the exam and had instead joined the army.”

“No, no, no, there’s nothing to regret.
Joining the army had always been my dream; when I heard you had determined to enrol in a Military Academy, I was quite surprised; I hadn’t expected there were girls who wanted the same thing as I did.”

Something bumped and rolled around behind him; while speaking, Lu Xin turned his head to look around; one of the wasted guys fell from the bed onto the floor and rolled near his feet.

While dragging a blanket from the bed to cover the guy up, he replied with a smile, “I do have some plans of my own; I’ll tell you about it when we have the time; I still don’t know if it’ll go as planned.
If it does, I’ll contact you.”

Since he had his own plans, Ye Jian stopped mentioning it, after they greeted ‘Good night’ to each other, An Jiaxin had just walked out with half-wet hair and a pair of slippers and saw Ye Jian hanging up the phone, she chuckled evilly, “Ooh, don’t tell me you just had a phone call with your guy?”

“I realized you’re getting better at stirring trouble after getting into university; you should blowdry your hair completely; after you’re done, we’ll have a good talk.” Ye Jian left half of the bed for her and waited for her to dry her hair and get in.
