I look back and forth at the Demon Race, that was blown away, and Galian-san multiple times.

When the 2 of them wondered what’s the matter and went up to the 2nd floor, Gullek’s room’s door was opened, and when they looked inside, there’s apparently a large hole in the wall.

It’s still deniable if it’s just that, but when they look at the neck of the Demon Race that destroyed the wall and is rampaging about, it was apparently wearing a familiar pendant.

I hear that it’s apparently a pendant that’s a memento of Galian-san’s son, Gullek’s father, and Galian-san, who saw that, was convinced that Gullek had mutated.

When I say that to the soldiers who support Galain-san, the soldiers nod.
And then they carry Galian-san and leave.
At the same time as that, Gullek emerges from the rubble.

“Uwa, his damn wounds are already healed up.
What regenerative capabilities.
But, that’s Gullek huh.

Gullek looks around restlessly like he’s looking for somebody, and when he spots me,

Just as I thought he’s indiscriminate, his objective is actually me huh.
But, how did Gullek get his hands on a Demon Race’s power? Over there, I remember about the Demon Swords 4 years ago.
Demon Swords that were said to have been created in the Regalia Empire.
It feels like that’s something similar as well.

As I was thinking about such things

“KILL!!!!”

Gullek rushes over.
It’s a speed that’s to the extent that it’s incomparable to that at noontime.

“Tsk!”

I dodge Gullek’s fist that punches at me.
When Gullek’s arm sinks into the ground, the ground bursts apart.
It’s weaker than Gilgas, but in comparison to noontime, it’s a power that’s in a different league.

I get in close to Gullek and attack with Rolgar.
Gullek brandishes his arms so as to shake me, who got in close to him, away but doesn’t land any hit.

I deflect his left hand that punches at me with Rolgar while turning, and with the momentum of that turn, I launch a barrage of thrusts.
However, it doesn’t seem to be that effective against Gullek and he punches at me once again.
Furthermore, he heals up as soon as he’s wounded so it’s unsustainable.

After I deflect the approaching fist, I strike Gullek’s knee with the butt of the spear and put him off balance, I punch him with my fist that I clad in magic power, swing upwards at Gullek’s jaw with Rolgar, mow down at his wide-open flank, and send him flying, but he immediately recovers.

“GUFUU! KI, KILLLLL!”

“Shit, what do I do to defeat Gullek? Is there no other way, besides sending his head flying?”

In all honesty, the attacks until now were just me groping whether if I can save Gullek.
I’d been attacking without inflicting a fatal wound to see if there’s any way to save him, but I can’t be wrecking the territory any more than this.
Just as I was considering that there’s no other way than to go for his head,

a voice reverberated in my head.
Hikarin and Maririn, who are on top of my head, make sullen expressions.
A light then shined before my eyes and a guy, whose physique is similar to Hikarin and Maririn, was floating over there.

“Are you a spirit?”

I’m a spirit that governs light.
Amongst them, I’m located close to Goddess Astell-sama, so my power is different from the spirits you find on every corner”

The light spirit says and makes a proud look.
Hikarin and Maririn are groaning, ‘Gununu’, on top of my head.

“It’s us spirits that are taking care of the things around Goddess Astell.
We’re existences that were created by Goddess Astell as well after all.

I come up with a name while transferring magic power to the light spirit.
His name is

And when I open my eyes, a golden-haired hunk whose height is about 180 centimetres and who wore a tailcoat was standing there.

On top of my head, Hikarin and Maririn were groaning that his name is normal.

A rope of light then binds Gullek throughout his body, rendering him unable to move.

“I stopped his movements, albeit momentarily.
My power is the same as the 2 of them over there, you become capable of using Light Magic that is 1 level above, and you become capable of using the blessing that was bequeathed by Astell-sama,『The One Who Severs』”

You are able to sever all kinds of curse, blessing, and contracts.
But there is a condition for this; you have to know what kind of a contract it is.

Light says that, so I transfer magic power to him.

It looked as though the pendant that’s on Gullek’s neck shined when I said that.
At that moment, I have a feeling that I was thanked by Gullek’s parents.
