“Are you jealous?”

“Huh?”

“The kiss…”

At my words, Jang Eui Yeol’s face turned red.
Seeing Jang Eui Yeol look at me with wavering eyes, I bit my lips.
Sure enough, I had hit the nail on its head.
When did the genre change…? I was sure Jang Eui Yeol was straight…

“You want to do it, don’t you? The kiss.”

“Huh? T-that’s…”

“No need to hide it.
I already know.
You’re interested, right?”

“What? Really…?”

“In Jae Hyuk hyung.”

“How did you know… huh?”

So this was why he had refused when I offered to introduce him to Ki Hyun Joo.
It was because someone like Kwon Jae Hyuk was Jang Eui Yeol’s type! I shuddered at my sharp inference.

His mouth popped open.
Was it because I was so spot on? Jang Eui Yeol pursed his lips without saying a word.
He pointed past me with one hand to the other side while another hand grabbed the back of my neck.
I looked over to see why he pointed there, but the fighting had stopped.
I saw the two people now looking at me.

Kwon Jae Hyuk was smiling awkwardly with his fist covering his mouth, and Jung Yi Joon was looking at me with a look of burgeoning eyes as if he was seeing me in a new light.

“Hey… You.
You’re really….”

“…”

“I can’t believe you, really.
Are you really that stupid?”

Jung Yi Joon gave me a look of pity as if wondering how I could be so stupid and took the stiffened Jang Eui Yeol by the back of his neck.

“Today you went too far.”

Even Kwon Jae Hyuk made a comment.
That day’s tutoring ended there.

Jang Eui Yeol, who was bracing himself before going to bed, came to visit me and left after repeatedly telling me that he was not interested in Kwon Jae Hyuk and did not want to kiss him.

Thanks to that, the misunderstanding that the genre had changed was resolved… Anyways, after finishing the first lesson, Kwon Jae Hyuk kept bullshitting for about a week, but afterwards, he was only enthusiastic about sparring, so Jung Yi Joon no longer quarrelled and didn’t tag along to learn.
In the end, it was only Jang Eui Yeol and I who took the class.

“No Jang Eui Yeol today… Shall we have a nice class together?”

Kwon Jae Hyuk chuckled and leaned in closer.
Before his fingertips could touch my neck, I made a weapon out of my power and blocked his fingertips.

“You’re not falling for it anymore?”

“Fooled once, I won’t be fooled again.”

The sparring began as soon as I entered the gym.
Before, he would start off a little easy.
At some point, when I got used to sparring, he started attacking as soon as I entered.

On a particular day, I was helplessly attacked by him, after he approached me with such small talk.

When I stepped back and stood guard against his nonsense, he slowly advanced and reached out his hand.
Even though I could see all of his movements, I was still rushing to block them.

“Gas…! Gasp…! …Argh!”

“Thrice.”

Kwon Jae Hyuk lifted three fingers and wave them.
This was the third time that I couldn’t stop Kwon Jae Hyuk; he touched my vital spot three times.
In other words, I had died three times.

Even if it was an important point, but not a real dangerous vital point like genitalia,1 one count of life was deducted from a slight touch of the neck, solar plexus, or the head like earlier.

After a total of 10 deaths, the day’s sparring was over.
At first, I didn’t know any better and thought it was worth doing, but as I got used to it and became stronger, I discovered that Kwon Jae Hyuk was also raising the level of sparring.

Indeed, he could catch a dungeon boss easily enough.
It didn’t make sense for us—I, who was just a regular person, and Jang Eui Yeol, who had only just started receiving combat lessons—to beat Kwon Jae Hyuk, who could easily handle weapons.
I felt like an idiot for not realizing it earlier that he was letting me off the hook.

“Is it because there’s no Jang Eui Yeol who’s in charge of attacking? You are being very passive today.”

The usual sparring was two to one.
When Kwon Jae Hyuk attacked me, I would defend; then Jang Eui-yeol would attack Kwon Jae Hyuk, and Kwon Jae Hyuk would defend against Jang Eui Yeol’s attack.
In other words, I was defence and Jang Eui Yeol was offence.

If I failed to defend ten times, or if Jang Eui Yeol gave Kwon Jae Hyuk a valid hit at least once, the spar would be over… The former situation had happened many times, but the latter hadn’t happened until recently.

Even though I’m a defender, it’s still a spar… Sometimes I attacked if I thought I could see a gap, but Kwon Jae Hyuk could block the attack with only his hands.

Kwon Jae Hyuk, who was very relaxed now that we were alone, secretly provoked me by saying I was being passive, but I kept my distance and my guard up the whole time.

Ah… I really want to hit him once.

I didn’t land a single hit for two months, so I got a little excited.
Of course, I didn’t have a grudge against him, but… it was a little annoying.

Even though I was wary of him, Kwon Jae Hyuk, who was very eagerly approaching me, continued to take my life, touching my vital points with his fingertips.

“Ah!”

“Two more times.”

Before I knew it, my life was deducted eight times.
I might be able to handle weapons well thanks to my abilities, but they were unable to compensate for my lack of stamina.
Even after a short spar, I was quickly exhausted and out of breath.

“Really… You’re so annoying!”

I wanted to avoid him, but Kwon Jae Hyuk’s arm ensnared me like a snake, and I was busy trying to avoid it.
If only I could hit him once… Kwon Jae Hyuk laughed.
I gritted my teeth when the thought in my mind came out of his mouth.

“Haha.
Can’t you just hit me once?”

“Aish…!”

I wanted to dye some distress onto that relaxed face.
I wanted to embarrass him so much that he couldn’t even make eye contact with me, but that was a dream that could not be achieved through honest methods.

In the end, the spar ended without me landing a single blow.

“ARGH!”

Kwon Jae Hyuk, still appearing relaxed, looked down at me and laughed as I laid on the gym floor panting.
I narrowed my eyes at Kwon Jae Hyuk, who crouched down beside me, asking if it was difficult.
Even after sparring, he was still annoying.

Playing with other people’s emotions is bad, but…

It wasn’t a good thing to be poking around, especially when I didn’t intend to go out with them…

So what, I’m the villain.

This body was Ki Yoon Jae, and Ki Yoon Jae was a bad guy.
I justified my actions with this ridiculous logic.
I bit Kwon Jae Hyuk’s lip as I grabbed him by the collar and pulled him closer.
It wasn’t to the point of bleeding, but enough to make the bitten lip swollen.

After the spar was over, I could see that the slot was cancelled and vacated after using the ability was being refilled.
While checking my two-hour-filled ability, I looked at Kwon Jae Hyuk.
Kwon Jae Hyuk was looking down at me with wide eyes.

I could no longer see that relaxed smile on his face.

“Hyung?”

I called him, but Kwon Jae Hyuk didn’t answer.
There was no discomfort on his face when I touched his swollen lips, but the way he stared down at me like that was quite frightening, so I tried to wriggle out of his arms.

As I went down a little and tried to get through to the side, Kwon Jae Hyuk’s hand shifted next to my chin and blocked my path.

My eyes rolled about as I looked around.
This time I tried to scoot up, but just when I thought I was halfway out, he grabbed me and pulled me down.

“Hyung?”

What was wrong with him? A smile appeared on Kwon Jae Hyuk’s face as I shuddered and called him again.
However, that smile was not his usual gentle or relaxed smile.
Just asI felt a sense of crisis from that dangerous smile—

[Ki Yoon Jae! I’m hungry!]

There was the small sound of footsteps on the gym mat, as I heard Cookie calling me.

I looked up slightly.
Cookie, which looked like a bundle of fur, approached us as he swept the gym floor with his fur.

[Why are you lying here instead of feeding me when it’s time to eat?]

Cookie spun around me and Kwon Jae Hyuk suspiciously, asking what we were doing.
Soon after, he licked my forehead.

[It’s not time to sleep yet.
If you’re going to sleep, give me food first, then go to sleep!]

Cookie’s frequent barking dissipated the tension between us.
Kwon Jae Hyuk, whose face was once again relaxed, whispered to me as he ran his palm over my forehead to wipe away Cookie’s saliva.

“That’s too bad, right?”

“What, what is…?”

“If you provoked me fearlessly… I’m sure you would have been prepared for the consequences.”

No… I didn’t mean it at all.
I was just trying to provoke him and run as if to prevent being stung.
Kwon Jae Hyuk’s smile deepened, it was unknown whether he knew my mind or not.

“I won’t let you go next time.”

In the meantime, he carefully got up and left the gym without looking back.

T/N: Sorry late update, was bit busy this week.
Might take a break next week if there’s no update.
Thanks for the patience.
